all that glitters is not gold….

But in this case the shiny golden looking thermal wraps embrace immigrants rescued from the Mediterranean. In this case the great human (godlike) attribute of overwhelming compassion

is what wraps these desperate people.

all that glitters is not gold

The really great thing here is that all the arguments about religions, politics, wars, rights and wrongs – all have been subjugated in favour of the most important reason of all – saving human life.

The rest of the prattle, waffle and arguments can come later…for now, the priority is rescue, saving life.

Here lies the greatest challenge to the major religions and religio/politico powers in this world. Here is the yardstick by which your integrity and understanding of the One God shall be measured:   when you place the God-given preciousness of life above all else, then, and only then, can you claim to have heard the voice of God, the voice of humanity, the voice of decency.

Spotlight on “Spotlight”

For those readers who are still trying to understand the exact nature of the self-destructive pathology of the Catholic Church (one of uinnumerable ‘religious’ mutlinational orgs) in relation to Paedophile scandals, this superb factual film dramatisation will help.

Let me be clear, it is not my purpose to try and destroy or attack anyone’s faith in God. I will, however, continue to attack those who, by manipulation, fraud and  with criminal intent, seek to lessen the message of unconditional love which I see as the primary catalyst in all the major religions.

some lights never dim

“Spirituality is recognizing the divine light that is within us all.

It doesn’t belong to any particular religion;

It belongs to everyone”.

Video game religions

I have a lot of trouble understanding people whose ‘god’ seems to be some guy who is playing a vicious ‘shoot em up’ video game with humanity.

in being yourself

“You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.” The Upanishads.

Even a flower knows this....and we see with what exquisite beauty and generosity of spirit a flower shares it's magnificence - without requiring reward other than simply being itself.

it is always the children…Lahore

who pay the most for the stupidity and downright criminality of misguided adults. Wasn’t Peshawar, wasn’t Beslan enough of a lesson? Don’t you realise that such atrocities simply alienate more people from you?

The loving hearts of people everywhere, irrespective of race or religion, reach out to the families, friends and peoples of Lahore at this tragic time.

clarity

Let us be clear: actions done by criminals wearing a cloak of religion do not represent that religion.

Whilst, admittedly, some religions have some way to go in modernising their ethical and moral values to equal those of secular societies, it is unreasonable and grossly unfair to label those religions by the actions of a very very small minority of criminals.

This criminal activity is just as destructive to those religions as it is to the standards of secular society.

Brussels 22nd March 2016

A message to those who would bomb, kill and maim:

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”
~ John Lennon

I do hope you will find a way to stop hating yourself so that you may come into the fullest knowledge that we are all one, what we do to others we do also to ourself. You have no hope for love in any future life if you have not discovered what love is in this life.

heal the earth

Do you think there is a correlation between the increased pain the planet is feeling as a result of man-made actions and the rise in mental/emotional/psychological “dis-ease” in modern humans?  Is this maybe the start of the fullest empowerment of ‘the rainbow warriors who will heal the earth?’

The age of the Rainbow Warrior

Carl Jung called them ‘'” the archetypes of the subconscious.”  Joseph Campbell spoke of the almost unbelievable correlation of these archetypes in all different cultures of the world in different geographical locations. It is as though there is a common, almost genetically encoded, human-ness that speaks through the myths, fables, histories and religions of the world.

In one of these cultures, the North American Indian culture, many different tribes prophecy of the coming of a new age of humanity. An age of justice, tolerance, compassion and lovingness. An age that is preceded by the cries of an Earth that is being destroyed. Nature shall speak to us all of the need to change what we are doing if the earth – and we – are to survive.(In other cultures, the same is to be found: Greek mythology-Chryson Genos, Vedic and Hindu culture-the Kali Yuga, even in Norsk mythology – Gullaldr, to name but a few)

This new age is called ‘the age of the Rainbow Warrior’.

It has begun.

We are all now uniquely involved in creating a new world. The internet is powerfully demonstrating these ‘archetypes of the subconscious’  which are now rising within our consciousness. We are responsible for the welfare of each other. We are responsible for the welfare of this planet. We are all one.

It has begun.                                                                                                                                                                                                               gg
